NASA Rolls Out Sixth Annual Robotic Mining Competition

NASA’s annual robotic mining competition attracts teams from around the country who compete for scholarships, awards, and experience in an effort to help solve a very real future issue: gathering raw materials while in space. As most people are probably aware of at this point, the long term goal of space travel is space habitation. The new frontier is no longer on Earth. It is millions of miles away.
