Underwater Robots

"The sea is a cruel mistress," so robots commissioned to go to depth in the ocean have special requirements for their design and construction. Whether it’s a submarine used by underwater researchers or a hobbyist building a prototype with PVC, there are certain considerations for robots that are used underwater that don’t apply to ground-based platforms.
