Read about the Ski Robot Challenge that took place at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Korea; ETH-Zurich’s latest development “Anymal:” a four-legged walking robot designed to operate autonomously in real world indoor and outdoor environments; a Clearpath Robotics’ Husky robot being fitted with a crate that would hold three 20 liter jugs to help women carry water in the village of Ayyampathy, in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu; and researchers testing different drones to observe elephants, except the elephants don’t like the sound the drones make.
