Humanoid Robot Olympics

This adorable “bottle traction” event took place at the 7th Wonderful Robot Carnival in Japan back in July. Each robot has one minute to move a basket full of bottles as far as they can, and they’re awarded points equal to the number of bottles times the distance moved. Unlike RoboGames, which has many different events for many different robots, this is more like a robot Olympics, where a single robot competes in a bunch of things… And unlike the real Olympics, the top four robots decide the overall winner with a deathmatch at the end.
