2012 VEX Robotics World Championship

 On April 19-21, more than 10,000 participants comprised of the world’s brightest middle school, high school and university students and team mentors from nearly 20 countries around the globe  will compete in three-days of intense back-to-back robotic mash-ups at the 2012 VEX Robotics World Championship. More than just an exercise in programming and driving robots, these kids turn robotics into an engaging hands-on sport that is riveting to watch. Through robotics, these students are being shaped into tomorrow's visionaries who will create the next big improvements in technology.

 

VEX Events: Local VEX Robotics competitions are being held in many different cities, states and countries. Teams can register for the VEX Robotics Competition to get their official VEX Team Identification Number and Team Welcome Kit at RobotEvents.com. Events are held worldwide and are being added every week to RobotEvents.com.

 

Thursday, April 19
1:30-6:00 p.m. Practice/Qualifying Rounds

Friday, April 20
8:15 – 8:45 a.m. Opening Ceremonies/Parade
9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Qualifying Rounds

Saturday, April 21
8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Qualifying Rounds
1:15 – 3:30 p.m. Division Playoffs
4:00-6:00 p.m. Finals, Closing Ceremony/Awards
